Jay-Z & PFW

We had Kanye. We had Drake, so why not finish out fashion month with Jay-Z?

Celine, featuring a primary color palette, with graphic patterns that were loose and free like swift paint brush swipes, as if Philo were learning to color for the first time. Are those tassels dangling about on that black skirt? Are those sandals the ultimate cross between Birkenstocks and lace up espadrilles? We're all about it. The Celine woman is at the helm of Safari Parisian; adventurous, spontaneous, yet always remaining true to a certain aesthetic that is ingrained within her.

"Just let me great, just let me great"
Jay couldn't conjure complete sentences for how great Sacai was, and I don't blame him because amongst feathered shirt dresses, voluminous skirts, cargo belts better than any fanny pack around, and the perfect spurt of muted florals. Spring is looking pretty great.

Jay Z speculating on Valentino reviews, and/or show-goers enthused Instagram captions. We wrote on our comment card that if the ethnic nodes of Dries and the over the top nature of Dolce & Gabbana had a love child, it would be Valentino SS14. The story seemed similar to that of Dries, except it wasn't as varied, Valentino stayed to the point; a point to where it was almost pushed upon the viewer, much like at Dolce & Gabbana.

Since we always ask the hard hitting questions: If Jay-Z is Pablo then who does that make Karl?
Chanel, always so Chanel. Whether it was Jay playing in the background, or the whimsy of the art placed around the runway, this show felt fresh. While still very classic, I wouldn't expect anything less. My favorite look was the one featured in the center, as it was very minimalistic, very modern, but so Chanel.
