I'll be real. The only reason I took these photos was to determine if I liked the length of the dress, which I am currently in the process of making. At first when I tried it on, I thought no, I might as well start over, this is so not what I was going for - I look like I just walked out of Little House on the Prairie.

I've since concluded that theres nothing wrong if you spend your Thursday -or any day for that matter- pretending your the modern Laura Ingalls Wilder. Sheer plaid whether it was inspired by Dries Van Noten, or LHONP will be staying on my mind from now until fall and if we're lucky maybe even into next spring. In addition, I shouldn't fear the midi-length, rather embrace it as it doesn't dwarf me completely.

It was really bright okay.
I'm wearing a sheer plaid dress (which I designed), an Opening Ceremony hat, Rag & Bone sandals, and vintage jewelry and camera.

Spoke to my soul in a way none other has this season. The set up, the music, the textiles... All the prints were graphic enough to be graphic while still being so wearable. The statement eye sweatshirt is this years Kenzo tiger sweatshirt.

Many people on twitter were bashing the Celine plaid, while I was like "no, its the perfect little red riding hood cape" And if I ever get asked to go golfing, hunting, or  hiking in the forest, I'll wear the moss colored coat on the right. This mossy textured coat is like camouflage for certain outdoor/recreational activities, I'm sure thats what Phoebe Philo had in mind.

Grungy florals, statement sweatshirts, delicately ornamented skirts, Bambi Disney references, what more could you ask for?
Known for structured leather jackets, I wanted to show they have a broader spectrum that not many recognize. AKA Look at these beautifully draped skirts/dresses. Granted their jackets speak to me on a higher level, but they can do more than just that, and they proved it.
